CWI Supervisor
(Sarawak - Miri)
Responsibilities:
Manage well delivery activities by land drilling/well intervention unit(s) assigned, including staff and contractors, to ensure full compliance with Shell business principles, internal standards (e.g. ISO14001), and HSSE requirements
Supervise in-field CWI activities in accordance with processes & standards. Maintain and where required, develop procedures & work instructions for workover and completions related activities
As appropriate, assist in setting up a CWI sub-assembly workshop, including testing, maintenance and storage of Company CWI equipment and materials. Share learnings and coach team
Manage well integrity, surveillance, intervention and maintenance of all new wells. Maintain and manage Well Data management system
Handle HSSE management for all well delivery activities carried out by the well intervention units and workover rigs
Manage stakeholders in relation to well delivery projects performed by the well intervention units and workover rigs. Responsible for implementation of well delivery processes and RtL/LEAN methodology by all well staff
Responsible for compliance with Well Global Standards and UIA Well Standards & Procedures
Responsible for Change & Risk Management implementation during project planning & execution in a business where failure can result in blow-out, with a business impact of multi million dollars, potential loss of life and loss of reputation
Actively promote, encourage and practice global learning and effective communication
Maintain an active learning and improvement loop based on an active post well review processes. Share and implement best practices with/from other regions
Safely manage increased risk levels resulting from SIMOPS and MOPO, whilst production or test facilities are used to produce hydrocarbons
Requirements:
Possesses an Engineering degree, with at least 8 years of experience in all well intervention and well delivery operations, with demonstrated leadership skills and competencies
Has in-depth experience in running completions and conducting frac stimulations
Committed to a robust cross-functional approach in which Surface & Sub-surface teams, Production and Engineering teams and all Support teams are expected to work together seamlessly
Able to demonstrate personal and company HSSE (health, safety, security & environment) commitment, and drive towards technical excellence
Able to act in the best interest of the Wells team, and demonstrate commitment to regional integration and standardisation
Has strong experience in a multi-discipline environment with a thorough understanding of the technical, operational and risks associated with the delivery of Wells projects

Deepwater Mooring Specialist
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
The Deepwater Mooring Specialist will report to the Moorings & Installation Team Lead, and is responsible for:
Carrying out installation planning and engineering for deepwater moorings and pipeline riser tie-ins
Ensuring installation safety and quality
Reviewing installation procedures and participate in constructability reviews and hazard/risk assessments
Providing support for mobilisation and installation activities
Ensuring installation contractor strictly adheres to approved procedures
Ensuring that all aspects of the installation are performed, documented and submitted in accordance with project drawings & specifications
Managing installation plans, equipment, appurtenances and all interfaces associated with offshore installation
Maintaining close coordination with Project Engineers who are following the design, procurement and testing of mechanical systems such as wire ropes, chain, tri-plates, subsea connectors, fairleads, winches/chain jacks, power packs and instrumentation is required
Ensuring that overall technical quality is adequate to the demands of the project goals and that the HSE aspects of the design are in harmony with cost & schedule promises
Providing guidance to junior engineers
Requirements:
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, and accreditation from a recognised project management industry body
Has at least 12 years of relevant work experience, with extensive experience in upstream project planning at all project phases, plus experience in wider project controls (e.g. cost engineering and estimating)
Self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills

Lead/ Senior Planning Engineer
(Miri and Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent and realistic plans, and control structures for the project and manage the team workload. Identify alternate approaches to optimise the plan
Contribute to the development of project TECOP (technical, economical, commercial, operability and political) profiles and translates these into plans using deterministic & probabilistic analysis methods, as appropriate
Liaise with and challenge senior project engineering personnel to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers
Implement emerging Shell standard tools and processes across the project lifecycle
Identify and deliver improvement initiatives to enhance the capability of the planning group
Support, coach and develop the team to enhance and improve their overall delivery capabilities
Requirements:
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and an equivalent accreditation from a recognised project management industry body

Flowline Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
This position reports on a day-to-day basis to the Flowline and Riser Lead Engineer
Work on the design and installation of flowline for key projects within the organisation
Support Flowline and Riser Lead Engineer in executing technical scopes regarding the design and installation/commissioning works, in accordance with company plans, procedures and budgets, through EPC contractor
Involve in the design of Flowline & Riser, specifications, data sheets, inspection, testing, installation, commissioning and start-up of Flowline & Riser systems
Involve in scheduling, budget, cost control, procurement, QA/QC and reporting
Support start-up, commissioning and maintenance of flowline and riser systems
Requirements:

Senior/ Well Completion & Intervention Engineer

Responsibilities:
Conducts activities related to offshore Oil & Gas Completion and Well Interventions as part of a high performance team
Be in the lead role for Health, Safety, Security & Environmental efforts including contractor safety management and incident investigation
Plans and executes activities related to Completion and Well Interventions with accountability for the safe completion of projects within planned cost & time goals
Manages logistics (equipment, manpower, materials) and project cost, and the accuracy of morning reports & cost data
Works closely with engineering & subsurface teams, and vendors in planning & executing work
Maximises team performance by building an enabling environment where everyone has the freedom to contribute, challenge and participate

Requirements:

Marine Engineer

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots, monitors and resolves technical issues & disputes involving marine vessels
Provides expert marine input into design of vessels, barges & ship/shore interface for barges, and support vessels with respect to marine operations
Responsible for the evaluation of the operability of marine barges, vessels, loading equipment, bunkering, product custody transfer & emergency, and safety & security issues
Develops key inputs for navigation studies, ship data and site conditions
Provides consultancy and advice in marine problems
Requirements:
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of work experience in the marine engineering field
Has good knowledge of the international Civil and Marine codes & standards
Has broad awareness of design, construction, inspection and maintenance of marine vessels
Possesses fitness-for-service assessment capability for vessels, with advice on repair or rejuvenation methods

Security Advisor

Responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled/unscheduled investigative security audits at all worksites, plants and installations in Shell Malaysia to ensure effective security measures, and conforming procedures and statutory requirements are in place for a secured working environment for employees
Conduct timely investigations on all forms of fraud, malpractices, avoidable loss and security infringement occurred, and identify weaknesses in controls and advise remedial actions
Develop Security Management System strategies & plans for Business to ensure a secure business environment (measurable by ‘no business interruptions due to security threats’)
Maintain intelligence procurement efforts pertaining to security threats and risks assessment
Act as security focal point in all major emergency and crisis management incidents in close liaison with relevant government agencies

Requirements:
